01 — Why now

A transformativewindow

The next five years will not resemble the last 30.

AI is compressing the time it takes to go from sketch to shelf, and human judgment surrounding creative output has never been more valuable.

Decisions being made right now around tools, talent, operating models and how design should be practised will decide the organisations that define the next decade.

02 — The programme

A platform built fordialogue

The Design Dividend's 'Future of Design Excellence' dialogue programme is a series of closed-door conversations exploring the impact of AI on the creative industries.

The programme comprises roundtables focused on industries that underpin the ways we all LIVE, MOVE, WORK and PLAY, centred around the questions where creative decisions hold the greatest commercial consequence.

Designing for the nextDecade

Three keyquestions

01

The future of AI-enabled tools & workflows

The edge of AI

How can we use AI to supercharge the creative process?

02

The future of AI-enabled experiences

Beyond the possible

How can we harness AI to create new forms of product and brand experience that shape the future?

03

The future of creative delivery

Design Operations 2.0

How do we build the operating models to design and deliver creative work at global scale?

03 — The ecosystem

An ecosystemcurated formotion

The hard part isn't having ideas. It's finding the right people at the right moment to make something move.

Spanning adjacent disciplines, industries and geographies, we convene curated, invitation-only conversations structured around seven participant types, each selected for the distinct perspective they bring to the room.

04 — The session

What happensin the room?

Twelve curated seats and specially prepared stimulus, designed to catalyse conversation that sparks collaborative creative partnership.

  1. 01

    Pre-Briefing & Questionnaire

    Thinking & preparation

Attendees receive the thesis, a profile of the room and a short set of reflective questions in advance. The conversation starts with genuine thinking already in it.

  2. 02

    Session Opening with Room Thesis

    And insights share

The thesis is introduced and pre-responses are synthesised and shared back anonymously, immediately revealing where the room agrees, diverges and where the most productive tensions already exist.

  3. 03

    Spotlight Presentation

    Expert stimulus

Each session features one specialist expert with direct expertise fit for the room thesis, tasked to provide stimulus tailored specifically to participant responses to the pre-event questionnaire.

  4. 04

    Moderated Discussion

    Supported by creative ideation

Three carefully chosen questions open the floor. The facilitator's role is to hold the tension, surfacing disagreement and ensuring the most important things get said, not just the most comfortable.

  5. 05

    Insights Synthesis

    With next steps

The session closes with a live synthesis of where the conversation landed: agreements, unresolved tensions and unexpected questions. Attendees leave with a written summary and a clear view of what comes next.
